Fullstack Developer - Legal Tech SaaS (REMOTE)

We're building a case management platform for court-appointed receivers. It covers property management, task tracking, documents, and communications all in one place. Nothing else on the market really fits this niche, and we're already running paid pilots with a couple of companies who've confirmed the need is real. The immediate focus is solidifying a core system of record. From there, we plan to use AI to automate a lot of the workflows, including text extraction from court documents. So we're looking for someone who can build solid fullstack features and is also familiar with working with LLMs and AI. The Stack - Frontend: Next.js 16 (App Router), React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS 4, shadcn/ui + Radix UI - Backend: Server Actions, Drizzle ORM, PostgreSQL - Infra: SST on AWS (Fargate, RDS, S3, ALB, Lambda) - Auth: Better Auth - Other: Zustand, React Hook Form + Zod, TanStack Table, Tiptap editor, FullCalendar, Resend for email, S3 presigned uploads What You'd Be Doing - Building and shipping new features end-to-end (UI through database) - Maintaining and evolving a multi-tenant architecture (org-level data isolation) - Working with AWS infrastructure via SST (deployments, Lambda crons, S3, RDS) - Helping shape the product as we go from pilot to production - Building AI-powered workflows and integrations as the platform matures You Should Be Comfortable With - TypeScript and React (hooks, server components, optimistic updates) - Relational databases and ORMs (Drizzle or similar) - AWS basics (or willing to learn, SST abstracts a lot of it) - Working with LLMs and AI APIs - Working independently. This is a small team / solo dev role Nice to Have - Experience with Next.js App Router patterns - Familiarity with SST or similar IaC tools - Understanding of multi-tenant SaaS architecture - Experience with legal tech or case management software - Experience with document parsing and text extraction We encourage using Claude Code to move fast, with proper oversight and code reviews 😊
